The Gator Club is pleased to continue showcasing our scholarship winners!
This week’s winner is Sofia N of Saint Augustine High School!
Sofia graduated with a 4.6 weighted GPA and received the Cambridge Scholar Award with Distinction.
She participated on the weightlifting team and kept her grades high while working after school as a caterer to make sure she had money for college. Sofia also worked as a student athletic trainer and interned with Atlas Physical Therapy.
Sofia plans to earn a bioengineering degree at UF and then work to design a new birth control with less complications. She also has interest in continuing her education, possibly becoming an endocrinologist.
